Manic Street Preachers

Manic Street Preachers were signed to Heavenly Recordings in 1990. Heavenly released their first two singles, "Motown Junk" & "You Love Us" to much head scratching from the press and general public. The Manics subsequently signed to Sony. A Heavenly label deal happened there shortly afterwards. Manic Street Preachers and Heavenly have kept a relationship up over the years since - James Dean Bradfield produced the first two Northern Uproar singles. Most recently, Nicky Wire has raved about Cherry Ghost in the press, chosing them as the support for their Christmas tour of the UK (2007).
